Sweet Potato Shake??

Aloha!

This may seem a bit of an odd idea, making a shake with sweet potato. However, believe it or not, it works!

Logical Reasons for Making A Sweet Potato Shake ::

1) It’s winter. You need your root vegetables. This helps keep us strong and warm when it’s cold, especially when on a Raw Diet.

2) It has loads of beta carotene, and is higher in potassium even than bananas!

3) Sweet Potato Shake is quite energizing and really delicious!

So… Here goes! Recipe is below pics.

Sweet Potato Shake
Equipment needed :: Vitamix or other blender (heavy duty blender will give better results)

1 Medium Sweet Potato, cut into chunks
1/2 cups Raw Brazil Nuts
3 tbs. Raw Honey, Agave or Pitted Dates (use stevia to taste for low glycemic version)
1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp. vanilla powder or extract of your choice
1/2 lemon, peeled with the seeds taken out
1/2 cup raw cacao seeds
4 cups spring water or purified water

Blend and enjoy!
