Last night, a friend arrived after a long journey from Thailand. I could tell she needed the basics: a bath, some tea and something yummy. It was after dinner, so I was feeling fruit might be light enough and refreshing for our traveler.
I chopped up some crisp pink lady apples, bananas, pear, strawberries and blueberries, and started thinking, hmmm… what kind of a sauce would be good for fruit salad that is not chocolate, as she was wanting to ensure she could sleep after her big day.
So I put about 1/3 cup of coconut butter, two small oranges, one half lemon, a pinch of sea salt and a large tablespoon of raw honey into the VitaMix. This new creation turned out so yummy I just had to share!
